Who we are

Johnny & Justin Porter are a Father and Son Fishing Guide Service on beautiful Truman Lake near Clinton, Missouri. With us both being on the lake day in and day out, we constantly share information with one another. This is important because no matter which guide takes you, you are basically getting two Guides for the price of one.

Johnny has been in the guiding business for over 25 years. He knows how to please his clients. From Spider Rigging and Dipping for Crappie to Anchoring or Jugging for Catfish, Johnny will go out of his way to make sure you have a good time and put you on the fish.

Justin started guiding fishing right after college. Quickly he began to follow in his father’s footsteps, and he too goes above and beyond to make sure his clients have a great time. He uses many of the same methods his father uses to chase Blue Cats and Crappie.
